Compliments in the english language

A compliment is an important component of the speech behavior of native
English speakers (British and Americans), which affects the character between the personal relationships of communicators, the degree of their mutual understanding, and therefore the success in communication in general. Consideration of the compliment as a speech act allows us to reflect the relationship of such categories as speech action, socio-psychological interaction and the method of implementing speech action.
