Я.П. НОВИЦЬКИЙ, ЯК ВИДАТНИЙ ЗБИРАЧ НАРОДНОЇ ПАМ’ЯТІ ЗАПОРІЗЬКОГО КРАЮ

Abstract

Звертаючись до матеріального та духовного життя населення Південної України, ми не можемо оминути велику постать Я.П. Новицького. Саме він став родоначальником записів усної історії на Катеринославщині. Дослідник протягом всього життя збирав і вводив до наукового обігу нетрадиційні види джерел – усні розповіді старожил. Тому перед ним постало завдання розробити свою методику збору та публікації усних опитувань.Applying to the material and spiritual life of the population of Southern Ukraine, we can’t avoid the great personality of Y.P. Novitsky. He became the founder of the oral history’s records on Katerinoslavschina. During the all his life the researcher gathered and popularized the untraditional kinds of the sources – the oral stories of the old-timers. That’s why we have a task to create own procedure of gathering and publication of oral polling.
