Abstract

The paper deals with the topical problem of reducing energy consumption in coal mining by developing a new principle of cutter-loader automatic control on the basis of auger gumming criterion. The research resulted in defining conditions of auger gumming beginning for automatic system and algorithm parameters for the automatic control of the cutter-loader in terms of energy consumption reduction.
