Містить основні теоретичні положення розділу "Похідні та їх застосування" курсу вищої математики. Дано повний аналіз основних способів знаходження похідних та їх використанню у подальших задачах. Наведено вичерпні розв’язки достатньої кількості типових задач. Містить понад 20 варіантів індивідуальних завдань з різних тем дисципліни «Похідна та її застосування». Орієнтований на організацію системної підготовки та самопідготовки.
