Рудные отвалы как фактор загрязнения грунтов, поверхностных и подземных вод прилегающих территорий

The results of theoretical and experimental researches are suggested that heavy mass iron-ore dumps unlike lung overburden dumps can lead to a redistribution of the water balance on surrounding areas and the development of flooding processes and landslides. Besides salt effluent calculations are showed that the ore dumps are polluting the environment. The low efficiency of sanitary washing of the Ingulets river is substantiated and the practical solutions to improve the water situation in the Krivoy Rog region are proposed.
