Abstract

Taras Shevchenko is a true patriot and hero of the nation. We consider him to be a poet, a writer, an artist, just a person and a citizen. His heart remained with his homeland during each exile. For him his home and native village were a sacred place of happiness and peace. Therefore many of his works are imbued with painful sadness for his native land.
