Стаття розглядає знакові етапи становлення та розвитку видатного вченого, ректора Національного технічного університету «Дніпровська політехніка» академіка НАН України Півняка Г.Г. Визначені унікальні умови, завдяки яким стало можливим створення наукової школи індукційної передачі енергії рухомому об’єкту та подальший розвиток досліджень у супутніх напрямках. Складний шлях від студента до ректора підкреслює організаторський талант та наукову вдачу Ректора.

The article considers the significant stages of formation and development of the outstanding scientist, rector of the Dnipro University of Technology, academician of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine Pivnyak G.G. Unique conditions have been identified, thanks to
which it has become possible to create a scientific school of induction energy transfer to a moving object and further development of research in related areas. The difficult way from student to rector emphasizes the organizational talent and scientific character of the Rector.
