Abstract
In the modern world, improving the energy efficiency of buildings to reduce resource
consumption and greenhouse gas emissions is becoming relevant. Rising energy prices and
growing environmental awareness require the introduction of innovative methods of energy
consumption management. In ukraine, centralized heating systems have remained practically
unchanged for the past 40 years, and their wear rate exceeds 68%. Given the trends in heat
energy losses in ukrainian networks, it is important to develop and modernize measures aimed
at stimulating end consumers to use renewable energy sources and alternative energy supply
schemes. In this context, heat pumps and heat accumulators are among the most promising
technologies for efficient heating of buildings.
